Extra-Fine Medical Cotton for Spun Cotton Crafts - 100g Absorbent Cotton Roll
Medical cotton is an easy-to-use material for making spun cotton ornaments and figurines. It is bright white, and yields a paper-like texture when brushed with starch medium or diluted glues.
This cotton was selected for its fine texture. It is easy to peel apart into thin layers, and can be torn into strips or patches for wrapping onto armatures, or applying piece by piece. It can also be wadded for filling out figures and refining armatures.
This is a small roll which comes compressed, and is about 1/2 inch thick when unrolled. It measures approximately 4.5 feet long x 5 inches wide. 100g by weight.

Orders are processed in 1-3 business days from our warehouse in Portage, Indiana.
We ship via US Postal Service:
- First Class & Ground Advantage: avg 4-8 days
- Priority Mail avg 2-4 days.
UPS Ground:
- 5-7 avg business days
All US shipments include tracking.
There is no order fulfillment on weekends or holidays. Overnight shipping is not currently available.

To qualify, an order must have an item subtotal of $75 after any applicable discounts have been applied. All items must be in one single order. Need to add items to your order? If you place multiple orders, the shipping warehouse will ship them separately, in separate boxes, and additional shipping charges are not refunded. If you need to add items to an order you've already placed, please email hello@smilemercantile.com to cancel your order/orders so you can place one single order with all of the items you would like.
- International shipments up to 4 pounds in weight are sent via standard shipping. We are not able to foresee, or accept responsibility for, any customs delays or additional costs within your country. Note that there is no insurance associated with international deliveries, and shipping times vary from country to country with possible delays. Tracking is not always available for international shipments.
- Currently shipping is not available to the UK or Germany due to specific VAT requirements and packaging taxes, respectively.
- EU orders will be charged VAT upon import. You will need to coordinate your VAT payment with the delivery service. Customs forms reflect the full value of the items, regardless of sales or specials. Smile Mercantile is not responsible for shipments sent back due to unpaid VAT.
